Project Development – Siegen – Rosterberg – Siegener Loch s. Wikipedia
On Rosterberg in Siegen, there were formerly four multi-family houses, some occupied and some vacant. Three of the properties, totaling over 1,100 m², required extensive, trades-spanning renovation work to restore them. The last row house had to be demolished, as in 2004 it became separated from its neighboring property due to sinkholes and the resulting ground movements.
At the beginning of 2020, I was able to acquire the properties from insolvency proceedings and redeem the existing ground lease with the City of Siegen

Over more than a year and a half, the properties were completely renovated both inside and out. This monumental task was only achievable thanks to the support of an excellent network of craftsmen.
The 18 newly created apartments now meet modern construction standards, and the buildings themselves were energetically upgraded with solar thermal systems. The outdoor areas were also completely redesigned, featuring landscaped greenery, terraces for the ground-floor apartments, and a paved driveway. On the site of the demolished building, there are now 15 parking spaces, helping to alleviate the significant shortage of parking on Rosterberg
